Lucas: Thomas Looking Forward to Home Game in Oakland
Quentin Thomas will play his first collegiate game before a hometown crowd on Friday.
So far so good with Q (as his teammates call him). I like Coach Williams' quote the other day about how Q has it rough in practice because Felton constantly guards him and knows all the plays he is going to run. At least he has one of the best defenders in the country to work with during practice. I think he'll make the typical rookie mistakes this year, but he has plenty of promise. And we don't have to cringe as much every time Felton takes a hard fall this year.
Here Q talks about how coming to Carolina was a no-brainer--he didn't even have to visit the campus.
