The Carolina basketball roster is going to be packed tighter than I-40 at rush hour next year, with six new recruits joining the returning five rising sophomores and three upperclassmen.
But there will be a spot the following season, and Coach Roy Williams is looking to fill it with someone very special. Rather than volume, he's going for pure quality.
The No. 1 kid on the wish list is named Kevin Love, and Love is a good name because the fans at UCLA or UNC (his two choices) are going to adore this youngster if he chooses to play for their school. Unless there is a surprise, Love will pick one of the two, at least that is what his family is saying.
