UNC Stat of the Day:


UNC 103, Gardner-Webb 50  
UNC was very impressive against GW. The Heels started off on a 11-2 run and they were hitting 3s early. UNC shot 60% in the first 10 minutes of the game and Wayne Ellington led the way with a great performance. Wright finished with 21 points and Ellington wasn't far behind with 19. The score was 57-19 at the half so it was never really that close.

It was nice to see us hitting some 3s for a change. Our defense looked much improved and GW was absolutely no match down low. This should have been a good confidence booster going into the game against Gonzaga on Wednesday.
