UNC 44, Ohio State 48 (HALFTIME)
What a first half! Ohio State is playing UNC's kind of game. Very fast, up and down. The only problem is OSU has been on FIRE. 8-12 (62%) from the 3 point line!! Hard to beat a team shooting that well. Frankly, our defense hasn't been that good. Every time we started to go on a little run, OSU would nail a three. OSU led the whole first half, leading by as much as 10 with 8 minutes to go.
Tywon Lawson started the game in place of Bobby Frasor, but it was Frasor that sparked the Heels around the 6 minute mark by scoring 2 straight three pointers followed by a steal and a dunk by Hansbrough.
I was literally jumping out of my seat at the 4 minute mark. OSU was already in foul trouble and it seemed like the refs didn't want to call anything else on them. Hansbrough got mugged at least 3 times in a row. They replayed the sequence a couple times on ESPN and it was clear Hansbrough was getting killed down low but no call.
Anyway, we had it down to a 1 point lead with 2:10 to go, but OSU made a couple more baskets to secure a 4 point lead going into the half.
This has been an exciting game so far. I hope we wore OSU down in the first half. They aren't nearly as deep as Carolina and they have 4 players with 2 fouls.
