Fire Billy Packer Petition   A lot of people have been commenting on this blog about Billy Packer's handling of the Hansbrough-Henderson incident. He seemed to be more concerned about who was going to shoot the free throws and whether Gerald Henderson was going to be suspended than on Hansbrough's well-being. The ol' Fire Billy Packer petition has been resurrected. Quite a few people have signed it since yesterday. My brother told me that some folks are actually calling CBS directly to lodge a formal complaint against Packer. All of the other people expressing opinions always agreed with Packer, so I couldn't trust them, but I can trust you, because you don't always agree with him and plus, it was clear to you. The problem was that he got caught and the outcome was bloody. He should have been ejected or it would have sent the wrong message out. Obviously the higher ups at CBS, but my experience is even Wake Forest fans, his alma mater, can't stand him, let alone most other ACC fans. He's so negative, "He should have thrown the ball to the other side; I don't understand why Roy has so-and so in at this point."
