Wright Choice: Player of the year stands alone when it comes down to talent
Here is a good article on Brandan Wright.
"Ask the fans, and they'll say they remember the highlight-reel slams. Brentwood Academy's Brandan Wright, the tallest man and freakiest athlete on the court, would glide along the baseline, rise from the floor and try to crumble the rim with a dunk."

"Roy Williams said he still gets excited on the drive home from Chapel Hill to Asheville.
When he first sees the mountains from Interstate 40 around Marion, he gets that feeling many natives experience. And his plan for retirement involves settling into several acres in Mills River on land owned by his in-laws."

Coach Roy had a luncheon with the UNC Rams Club last week at the Rock Springs Jockey Club. He gave a little glimpse of his expectations for next year:
"I want to be able to get up and down the court quickly and I think Tywon, who is a very quick guard, will help us do that. Pace of play is very important to me. When I was at Kansas we averaged more than 90 points a game one year, and two years ago we averaged nearly 90 points. I want to do the same thing next season. And our guys better be ready to get up and down the floor. Because if they're not, they'll be on a track scholarship during the spring to work on it."

The No. 1 kid on the wish list is named Kevin Love, and Love is a good name because the fans at UCLA or UNC (his two choices) are going to adore this youngster if he chooses to play for their school. Unless there is a surprise, Love will pick one of the two, at least that is what his family is saying.
